Clean Planet Program

Konica Minolta is committed to environmental preservation. We recognize the responsibility of how our products affect the environment rests with the manufacturer and are working to reduce any environmental impact our products may have throughout their life cycle. As a result, Konica Minolta has established a Toner Cartridge, Waste Toner Box, and End-of-Life recycling programs.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001certification is accredited third-party verification that provides a formal structure for environmental management. The requirements of ISO 14001 cover the main principles of professional management and are based on the cyclical process of plan, implement, check and review. The standard outlines 21 specific requirements for areas of management control, grouped under policy, planning, implementation and operation, checking and corrective action and management review. The intent of ISO 14001 is to support environmental protection and prevention of pollution.

Zero Waste

Our zero emissions activities reflect our intention to minimize waste destined for landfill disposal, by promoting waste recycling. The Konica Minolta Group believes it essential to give proper consideration to real-world economics while reliably implementing risk management, so as to steadily continue our zero emissions activities. Characteristically, Konica Minolta' s zero emissions activities are integrated into management, from the perspective of both risk management and economy.

In our environmental preservation activities, Konica Minolta is working to reduce the environmental impact of each stage of its product-related activities-from product manufacturing through product distribution, use, and disposal. We are also committed to introducing comprehensive environmental management systems that cover manufacturing operations and all other types of corporate activities, with the goal of ensuring that our company and the environment develop in harmony.

Konica Minolta has established standards used to evaluate the environmental impact of our products. Subsequently, we have reduced the number of plastic materials used in the housing of our products including laser printers and toner cartridges. To further support Konica Minolta's environmentally conscious practices we have partnered with a leading electronics recycler who manages e-waste in an environmentally sound and secure manner. The Clean Planet Program encompasses both toner, waste toner box, and end-of-life recycling for selected Konica Minolta product

bizhub - Toner Cartridge Recycling Program

Once the toner or waste toner cartridge is ready for replacement, place the empty cartridge in the box that the new replacement toner cartridge came in, then request a free shipping label. Either drop it off at a Canada Post Office or place with your company's regular mail.
