Francotyp-Postalia is a German based company and one of the largest manufacturer and supplier of postage meters in the world and has been in operation since 1923 with products sold in 86 countries world wide. Introduced to the Canadian market in 1960 they now have 50 sales and sevice locations across the country. Francotyp-Postalia is a winner of the prestigious European “IF product design award” for the optimail postal system.
FP revolutionized the postal industry with the invention of the world’s first “Digital” Postage Meter & High-speed inkjet mail system. FP has won “Best Buy” for its digital meter and its Mail Systems. (‘What to Buy for Business’ Report on Mailing Systems) As an environmentally friendly they have complied with the European RoHS standards to eliminating any hazardous materials in the electronic components of our mailing equipment. Another great accomplishement of FP is they were the first to achieve Canada Post 2007 ECDSA and Data Capture compliance approval for all new FP products.
